    Description

    Hello, up for purchase is a very cute, fun ashtray from Stangl.  A popular expression in the 1950's was "He/she is so drunk, they're seeing pink elephants".  This is the basis for this design.  Stangl created a square ceramic ashtray with a circle insert that is off center.  It shows an old style champagne glass, champagne bubbles, and the elephant standing on the bottom of a glass.  The outside is a cinnamon brown color and the top and inside are done in pastels on a white background.  It measures 9 1/4 x 9 1/4 x 1 3/4 inches tall.  It's in very good to excellent condition.  I don't see any issues, chips, or cracks.  It will be packaged well for shipping.  It's a heavy piece weighing almost 2 pounds.
